Safari allows you to change the default URL when you open a new browser window BUT (like all other browsers), it doesn’t allow you to change the “new tab” URL.
For that, you need an extension and that is exactly why we have one.
Change the Default Homepage (Startup Page) – macOS #
- Open Safari.
- Click Safari in the top menu bar and select Settings (or Preferences on older versions).
- Go to the General tab.
- Find Homepage, enter the Hoomster Dashboard URL (https://www.hoomster.com/app/main/dashboard).
- (Optional) Under New windows open with, select Homepage to make it open on startup.
